Celebrations and Challenges

Yes, we are thirty years old! Jesus started his public ministry when he was about our age, so I am expecting great things from this next decade. Well, I have had a wonderful start at it anyhow… I am happily married. Today, Per Eirik and I have been together for a year! I still feel the butterflies in my tummy when I think about that day, last year. It was amazing!!! Per Eirik drove up from Kristiansand and was at my door sometime between 9 and 10 am on the 9th of November. He had a big smile as he walked down the hallway to my door… it was all very romantic… and now I am married to the world’s best husband.
Per Eirik was thirty years old on Monday. We spent last weekend at his parent’s house, celebrating Per Eirik’s birthday with them on Monday. It was a very nice weekend.

For those of you that have followed our blog, you know that we can only borrow the apartment we are in now until the seventh of December. We have been offered another place to stay from the tenth of December, but our minds are set on Austria...
We are considering another trip to Austria before Christmas. This would enable us to take a lot more with us down there. For us this is about making a home down there and growing some roots- in the place where we are going to stay for the next two years. We also hope that a couple from Latvia, who we have met here at Grimerud, will meet us down there. We look forward to a time of praise and worship with them in Austria.

In last few weeks we have witnessed how God has given us some very valuable conversations and contacts. It is exciting to speak with people that have done some of the same things that we are going to do. We try to draw as much as we can from the wisdom and experiences they have.

This week we were at a leadership conference for YWAM, Norway. This was an excellent way for us to observe and see how leadership is executed within YWAM. We really enjoyed being observers to the conference which lasted from Tuesday until Friday.

I have received some comments that it might be difficult for some of you to add your comments here – especially for those of you that don’t have your own blog. I think you have to push where it says “Kommentarer” several times in order to activate it. You may also send us an email. I’d really like to hear from you if you are able to leave a comment.

I want to thank all of you who have been supporting us in prayer and in your thoughts. It is so nice to meet and talk with people who have been in on our blog. If there are more people out there that are praying for Austria or have experiences you think will be useful for us, please let us hear from you.

We also would like to say, thank you, to all of you that are supporting us financially. It is such a blessing to know that you are standing with us and supporting us.

God bless you all.

Prayer requests:
- Please, pray that we will use our time wisely – especially in considering another trip to Austria.
- Pray for our financial situation – that God will continue to provide for us.
- Pray that God will continue to show us His heart for Austria.
- Pray that God will continue to send people our way that can stand with us in prayer, and share with us from their wisdom and experiences.
